The Kouri Bridge connects Yagaji Island and Kouri Island in Nago City and was opened in 2005. With a total length of 1960 m, it is known as the longest bridge around the main island of Okinawa. The biggest attraction of the Kouri Bridge is the beauty of the surrounding waters. The dazzling blue gradation attracts visitors. If you have time, park your rental car at the parking lot (free of charge) of the observation deck at the southern end of the Kouri Bridge on Yagaji Island and walk around. You will have a direct view of the sparkling sea surface below and feel as if you are taking a walk on the sea. If you cross the bridge, it will take more than 20 minutes, so it is recommended to walk back about 500 meters.
